Meet your workers

Lou is your first worker, and you can add more workers to your team, each with its own job.

Updated

Lou

Lou is the first worker on every team. Lou's job title is Assistant, and Lou takes everyday to-dos. When you give a to-do without choosing a worker, it goes to Lou.

Lou always stays on your team.

Your team

Team lists every worker. Each one shows a name, a job title and how it is right now:

  • Available: ready for a to-do.
  • Busy: working on something.
  • Needs You: waiting for your answer.

Workers can ask each other for help. When that happens, the chat says so in a sentence, such as "Lou asked Dana for the app icon."

Add a worker

  1. Open Team.
  2. Click Add to Team….
  3. In Choose a Worker, pick Blank Worker, which has no job yet, or a worker with its job already set.
  4. Change the Name if you like.
  5. Click Add.

How many workers your team can have depends on your subscription. See Pricing.

A worker's page

Click a worker on Team to open its page. From there you can:

  • Click Chat to talk with the worker.
  • Click Give a Task… to give it a to-do.
  • Click Edit to change its name or job title.
  • Read and change About, which says what the worker is for and how it works.
  • See Rules, what the worker learned from your corrections, and Memory, the facts it learned.
  • See Procedures, the ways it knows to do a job.
  • See its History and Track Record, and the Files it made.

To take a worker off your team, click Remove from Team at the bottom of its page.

Workers are AI

Every worker is an AI, even when it has a human name. Where people and workers are listed together, a worker shows that it is an AI worker.
