Connect an app

Connect Google Calendar, YouTube, X, GitHub and other apps in Apps so your workers can use them.

Updated

Open Apps

  • Web and Mac: open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Apps.
  • iPhone: open Settings, then Apps.

Apps lists every app you can connect. All shows them all, and Connected shows the ones you connected. Each app says Connected or Not Connected.

The apps you can connect

The list in Apps is always the current one. Right now it includes:

  • Google Workspace: read and add Google Calendar events.
  • YouTube: read your channel, your videos and their views, likes and watch time.
  • X: read your X account and posts, and publish posts and threads you approve.
  • GitHub: read the repositories you choose, including private ones: files, issues, pull requests, commits and checks.
  • Notion: read and write pages and databases.
  • Stripe: read payments, customers, subscriptions and payouts. Changes ask you first.
  • Sentry: read errors, releases and traces.
  • Cloudflare: read traffic totals for your sites.

In GitHub, Sentry and Cloudflare, workers can only read. They cannot change anything there.

Connect an app

  1. In Apps, click the app.
  2. Click Connect. On the Mac, the button is Connect….
  3. Read the sheet, then click Continue. The app's own sign-in page opens in a new window.
  4. Sign in there and allow access.
  5. Come back to Little Worker. The app shows Connected when you are done.

You sign in on the app's own page. Little Worker never sees your password.

From a chat

When a worker needs an app you have not connected, it can show a card that opens that app in Apps, ready to connect. You can also type / in the message field and choose Connect an App.

If a worker could not use an app, its message has Open Apps, so you can connect the app again.

If it does not connect

  • The sign-in window does not open. Your browser may stop new windows. Allow pop-ups for this site, then click Try Again.
  • The sign-in did not finish. Close the other window, then click Connect again.
  • On iPhone, the app says to connect on your Mac. Some sign-ins can finish only on a Mac. Connect the app in the Mac app instead.

After you connect

Once an app is connected, its page shows Permissions, Details and Recent Actions, so you can choose what workers may do and see what they did.
