Chats and results
Every to-do a worker takes gets its own chat, and everything the worker makes is kept with it and in Files.

Chats
Chats lists every chat with your workers. Each worker has a main chat, and each to-do you give a worker gets its own chat, named after the to-do.
When a task is done, its chat moves to Done, folded at the end of the list. If work starts in it again, it comes back.
A project is a chat with several workers about one piece of work.
Start a chat
- Open Team, click a worker, then click Chat.
- On the Mac, choose File > New Chat (Shift-Command-N). On the web, New Chat is in the Command-K list.
An empty chat shows the worker's greeting and three starters that fit its job. A starter puts its line in the message field. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Write a message
The message field asks the worker by name, such as "Ask Lou".
- + opens Attach Files, to give the worker files to work with.
- @ mentions someone.
- The microphone lets you say your message instead of typing it.
To answer one message, point to it and click Reply. To copy it, click Copy.
While a worker works, the chat shows "Lou is working" and the current step. When it waits for you, it says "Lou is waiting for you" and what it needs.
The Inspector
On the web and the Mac, click the info button at the trailing end of the toolbar to open the Inspector beside the chat. It has these views:
- Results: what this task made, and where it stands.
- Browser: the worker's browser while it uses a website. Click Take Control to use it yourself, and Give Back when you are done.
- Steps: every step of the task, in order.
- Worker: the worker the chat is with.
The chat's Permissions are in the Inspector too.
