Tell a worker what you want to reach, and the worker sets the goal and keeps count.

What a goal is

A goal is something you want to reach, such as a number of followers or a post every week. Goals lists your goals and how each one is doing.

Set or change a goal

You set a goal by asking a worker. There is no form to fill in.

  1. Open Goals.
  2. In the field that says "Ask a worker to set or change a goal", write what you want to reach, for example "Set a goal to reach 1,000 followers by March".
  3. Press Return. The worker sets the goal and keeps count.

To change a goal later, ask the same way.

With no goals yet, Goals offers two starters, Grow My Audience and Ship Every Week. A starter fills the field. It never sends anything by itself.

How a goal is doing

Each goal has a ring that fills as it gets closer to its target, and its status in words:

  • On Track
  • At Risk
  • Off Track

Click a goal to open it. A goal can show its number, how it changed today and the pace it needs, Over Time, a note from the worker that keeps it, and Daily Progress, a table of each day. A goal measured from X also shows What Moved It, the posts that helped most.

To-dos for a goal

A goal can hold its own to-dos. Open the goal and add a to-do in the field under it. On Today, a to-do that belongs to a goal shows the goal's name under its title.

Weekly Review

Weekly Review shows what got done this week, your goals and a one-on-one with each worker. On the web, open it from the Command-K list.
